Hi, I’m Christina. I’m so glad you’re here!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist born and raised in Marin County. I have been working with children, teens, adults and families for over a decade.
In addition to private practice, I've worked in a variety of settings including reproductive health centers, mental health agencies as well as served as a school counselor and therapist in both public and private schools for K-12 students.
I bring a warm, compassionate style to working with my clients. My approach to psychotherapy incorporates psychodynamic principles, developmental and attachment theory as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) strategies and tools. My counseling philosophy is rooted in client-centered and strengths-based practices. I see it as a true honor to walk with individuals as they discover their own story and begin to experience positive change in their own lives.
As a mother of two young boys, I know firsthand the joys and demands that parenting brings. Things that have helped me on my parenting journey include connection with other mommas, lattes, nature and being outdoors, dark chocolate and mindfulness. When I’m not in the office, you can find me chasing after my two active boys, listening to a good podcast reading, and watching reality TV (most notably Bravo).

My Guiding Principals
I want to take a moment to share with you the guiding principles that shape my approach as a therapist. These values are not just words; they are the foundation upon which I believe a therapeutic relationship is built.
Inclusivity: I am dedicated to creating a space where individuals of all gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnicities, and body sizes feel respected, valued, and safe. Regardless of your background, identity, or beliefs, you are welcome here. I honor the unique perspectives and experiences that each individual brings to therapy, and I am committed to providing affirmative support for diverse identities.
Women's Right to Choice: As a woman, mother, and parent myself, I understand the importance of autonomy and agency in decision-making. I believe in upholding women's right to make choices about their own bodies and lives, including reproductive choices. Whether you're navigating decisions about motherhood, parenting, or reproductive health, I offer nonjudgmental support and guidance tailored to your needs.
Empowerment: My goal is to empower you to tap into your inner strength and resilience. Together, we will explore your values, goals, and aspirations, and I will support you as you navigate life's challenges and transitions. I believe in your ability to create positive change in your life, and I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward growth and fulfillment
Intersectionality: I recognize the complexity of identity and the ways in which intersecting factors such as race, gender, sexuality, ability, and socioeconomic status shape our experiences. In our work together, I approach each aspect of your identity with humility and respect, creating space for you to explore how these intersections impact your life and well-being. As an intersectionality-conscious provider, I acknowledge the interplay of systemic power, privilege, and oppression on mental wellness.
Compassion: Above all, I approach therapy with compassion, empathy, and kindness. I understand that seeking support can be daunting, and I honor the courage it takes to ask for help. You can expect a nurturing and nonjudgmental environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Fees + Insurance
During our initial phone consultation, we can discuss my current fees. I provide a limited number of sliding-scale options. Please reach out for additional information.
I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not accept insurance. I can provide you with an insurance-ready statement (commonly referred to as a superbill) which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to find out if you are eligible for reimbursement for out-of-network mental health visits.
Payment is expected at each appointment.
